EFPM (European Fair Play Movement) tagte in Wien

Am 24. und 25. September 2021 fanden der EFPM-Kongress und die EFPM-Generalversammlung in Wien statt. Christian Hinterberger (ASKÖ-Vizepräsident) ist nach 9 erfolgreichen Jahren als EFPM-Präsident zurückgetreten, sein Nachfolger ist der Belgier Philippe Housiaux.

Am Freitag fand im Parkhotel Schönbrunn der 26. EFPM Kongress statt. Hauptreferenten waren Kole Gjeloshaj (Belgien) und der österreichische Top-Sportsoziologe Otmar Weiss, anschließend gab es eine interessante Diskussion zu den Vorträgen.
Der erste Teil der EFPM Generalversammlung fand dann noch ebenfalls am Freitag statt. Abends gab es ein Gala-Dinner im VIP Club des SK Rapid im Allianz Stadion inklusive Übergabe der Fair Play Awards und Diplomas.

    Samstags fand dann der 2. Teil der Generalversammlung inklusive Neuwahlen statt. Christian Hinterberger legte sein Amt als langjähriger Präsident (2012-2021) zurück, nachdem er fast 30 Jahre lang (von der Gründung bis heute)  bei der internationalen Organisation tätig war. Er wurde mit viel Applaus aller Anwesenden bedacht, konnte er doch das EFPM mit zahlreichen anderen internationalen Sportorganisationen vernetzen und dem Thema „Fair Play im Sport“ somit einen höheren Stellenwert zu Teil werden lassen.

    Die ASKÖ gratuliert ihrem Vizepräsidenten Christian Hinterberger zu seiner erfolgreichen Tätigkeit!
    Sein Nachfolger als EFPM Präsident ist der Belgier Philippe Housiaux.

    EFPM (European Fair Play Movement) met in Vienna

    The EFPM Congress and the EFPM General Assembly took place in Vienna on September 24th and 25th, 2021.

    Christian Hinterberger (ASKÖ Vice President) has resigned after 9 successful years as EFPM President, his successor is Philippe Housiaux (Belgium).

    The 26th EFPM Congress took place at the Parkhotel Schönbrunn on Friday. Keynotes by Kole Gjeloshaj (Belgium) and Austrian top sports sociologist Otmar Weiss were followed by an interesting discussion about their presentations.
    The first part of the EFPM General Assembly took place on Friday as well. In the evening there was a gala dinner at the VIP Club of Austrian football team SK Rapid in the Allianz Stadium including the presentation of the Fair Play Awards and Diplomas.

    On Saturday the 2nd part of the General Assembly, including new elections, took place. After having worked for the international organization for nearly 30 years (from its founding up until today) Christian Hinterberger resigned from his position as long-standing President. He was greeted with much applause, as he was able to connect the EFPM with numerous other international sports organizations and thus give the topic of “fair play in sport” a higher priority. 

    The ASKÖ congratulates its Vice President Christian Hinterberger on his successful work!
    His successor as EFPM President is Philippe Housiaux (Belgium).
